Dr. Michael Boakye-Yiadom, the Director-General of the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence for West Africa at the University of Cape Coast, has been recognized for his service to Ghana at the Ghana Education Awards held in Accra recently.

The Institute for Educational Planning and Administration(IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence for West Africa was invited to attend a co-creation workshop in Rwanda with partner organisations to review the African Centre for School Leadership (ACSL) proposal and provide feedback for the future of the Centre.
 

The Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence for West Africa located at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) – Ghana, has honoured its sabbatical and Fulbright scholars at a public lecture it organized for them in Cape Coast for them to share their insights and experiences.

The Director-General of the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), Dr. Michael Boakye -Yiadom, has indicated that quality education in a free Senior High School (SHS) system requires a holistic approach where teachers are teaching not just to get their learners to pass examinations and learners are also not learning just to pass examinations.

The Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence for West Africa located at the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, continues to spearhead efforts on the creation of standards in teaching, intellectual enquiry, students engagement and professional practice. 

The IEPA, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) - the Cape Coast Metro Education Directorate, planned activities to commemorate the 2023 International Day of Education.
