Nyankum Cobbinah is a Senior Technician for Information, Communication Technology (ICT) at the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence for West Africa, located at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

Mr. Cobbinah has a General Certificate of Education, Ordinary level (GCE O-Level) in Business from the Sekondi College, Takoradi.  Professionally, he holds a Diploma in Network Engineering (Microsoft Technologies) from the NIIT Education Training and also a Diploma in Computer Hardware from the Dita Dang Computer Institute, both located in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.

As a Senior ICT Technician, Mr. Cobbinah works under the Office of Communication and Public Relations supporting the Institute with all hardware maintenance, software installations, ICT networking, computer security and privacy and digital communications.

Mr. Cobbinah’s research interests are in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical (STEM) Education, Application of Artificial Intelligence to Education, Data Science and Computing for Development.
