
Mrs. Ama Serwah Nerquaye-Tetteh is the Deputy Director-General in charge of Administration and General Services at the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence within the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana.
Mrs. Nerquaye-Tetteh holds an M.Phil. in Education and an MA in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Ghana, Legon; an MA in International Communications from Leeds University; a postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Bedfordshire; and an honours degree in English and French from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
A passionate advocate for quality education, Mrs. Nerquaye-Tetteh has served on numerous national education committees, including those for SDG4 and the Transforming Education Summit. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping key national educational policies. She is a licensed teacher, an experienced educational consultant, and an examiner for international examination bodies.
She is also certified in innovation, risk, and governance and is a member of the Certified Innovation Professionals Association (CIPA).
Prior to joining IEPA, she served as the Secretary-General of the Ghana Commission for UNESCO, a government agency responsible for managing Ghana's relations with UNESCO.
Mrs. Nerquaye-Tetteh possesses strong boardroom experience and currently serves on the boards of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and the Open Foundation for West Africa.
She is passionate about gender and youth empowerment as well as community development.
