The Institute for Educational Planning and Administration will run the following programmes for the 2019/2020 academic year:

  1. M.PHIL. Degree in Educational Administration
  2. M.Phil. Degree in Educational Planning
  3. M.Phil. Degree in Administration in Higher Education
General Requirements

Candidates with a good First Degree from the University of Cape Coast and any recognised University may be considered for admission into any of the programmes.

Duration of Programmes

The M.Phil programmes shall normally extend over four semesters (two academic years) and shall consist of two parts.  The first part of each programme shall consist of the course work which will take one academic year (two semesters).  On successful completion of the first part and on the recommendation of the Department’s Committee of Graduate Studies, a student may proceed to collect materials for the writing of his/her thesis which shall be a requirement for the award of the M.Phil Degree.

Full-time M.Phil students shall be required to complete all requirements within two years (4 semesters) and part-time students shall be required to complete all requirements in three years (6 semesters).
