The Institute for Educational Planning and Administration, a UNESCO Category II Institute at the University of Cape Coast, is inviting applications from qualified persons for admission into the career-oriented post-graduate SANDWICH programme for the 2021 Sandwich Semester.
Programme
- Master of Education (M.Ed) in Educational Administration
The programme provides broad-based professional training in educational management and administration and equips students with the requisite skills for meeting the leadership challenges facing educational institutions in Ghana. It explores the intellectual and practical problems facing educational management in contemporary times, with a view to increasing students’ understanding of and skills in the management of resources and decision-making within the context of education.
Target Group
The programme is designed primarily for practitioners in Educational Management and Administration in the Ghana Education Service (GES) and Ministry of Education including Directors of Education, District Directors, Assistant Directors, Principals, Headmasters, Headmistress and aspiring Heads of Educational Institution. Heads of Private Educational Institutions with the requisite qualification are also eligible to apply.
Entry Requirements
Candidates with a good first degree from the University of Cape Coast or a recognized institution of higher learning may be considered for the programme.
Duration of Programme
The programme will run for two sandwich semesters of eight (8) weeks duration each. Sandwich programmes will run from mid-June to mid-August 2021.

Completion of Application Forms
a. Applicants are advised to read very carefully, the instructions in the Admission Brochure for Career-Oriented Post Graduate Programmes (Sandwich) 2021 on www.ucc.edu.gh before completing the forms.
b. Two prepaid EMS envelopes must be provided and should be self-addressed by applicants.
c. Applicants are required to give the following information at the back of the large EMS envelope: (i.) Full name (ii.) Postal Address (iii.) Programme Choice.
Submission of Completed Application Forms
a. Completed Application (printout of online application form plus accompanying documents in large EMS envelop) should reach The Deputy Registrar, School of Graduate Studies, University of Cape Coast by Friday, 30th April, 2021.
b. No additional documents will be accepted after submission of application forms.
