Course Description
This course prepares the student to become an effective financial manager in educational organizations. It examines leadership roles in organizations within the context of finance and budgeting. It will look at both the theoretical and practical expects of finance and budgeting. It also focuses on the trends and principles of financial management in educational institutions. The course also examines the mechanics of developing budgets, which include how to collect, compile and prioritize financial data. Other key issues that will enable one make informed sound financial decisions and manage a budget will be reviewed.
