A candidate who chooses to write a thesis shall prepare, in consultation with a supervisor, a proposal in an area of specialization and present the proposal orally in a departmental seminar prior to commencement of the research. The proposal, if approved for suitability, shall form the basis for the thesis, which shall be undertaken during the third and fourth semester of the study. Once the proposal has been accepted, the candidate shall be assigned supervisor(s) who will follow the University of Cape Coast guidelines for supervision of the thesis. At the end of the research the candidate, will write and submit a thesis report for examination in accordance with the University of Cape Coast regulations.
